Services for Landlords and Commercial Clients
What Do you Need to Know?
Report response: Landlords must investigate any report of damp or mould within 14 calendar days.
Emergency hazards: If the issue poses an immediate risk to health or safety, it must be made safe within 24 hours.
Repairs: Once a hazard is confirmed, repairs must begin within 7 calendar days and be completed as soon as reasonably possible.
Communication: Tenants must be kept informed of the findings, actions, and expected timescales in writing.
Responsibility: Landlords cannot blame tenant lifestyle alone — they must identify and fix underlying property issues causing damp or mould.
How We Help Landlords Stay Compliant:
We provide expert damp and mould surveys for both residential and commercial landlords. Our reports clearly explain the cause of damp, offer practical advice to reduce condensation, and include structural recommendations where repairs are required.
We also help landlords keep tenants informed, providing clear, written guidance that supports compliance with the new Awaab’s Law standards and ensures a safe, healthy living environment for all occupants.
