We specialise in the supply of deposit protection insurance and insurance backed guarantees for home improvements, providing you with peace of mind, that your investment is protected.
Our Insurance
The insurance we supply is underwritten by a UK based insurer, with clear and simple insurance policy wording. The insurers are authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by both the Financial Conduct Authority and Prudential Regulation Authority.
You may also benefit from free access to fair and impartial dispute resolution from the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Deposit Protection Insurance
Many installers require an upfront deposit payment before starting a job. Making sure that your deposit is protected is essential. If your deposit isn’t protected, and the installer ceases to trade, it’s likely the money you paid will be lost.
Accredited Installers can register to protect your deposit with insurance via our online system. You’ll receive your insurance policy documents via email within just a few minutes, providing you with additional confidence that your deposit is safe.
Our deposit protection insurance covers deposits up to £5,000 or 25% of the total contract value, whichever is the lesser. Your deposit remains protected for up to 90 days from the date you paid the installer.*

Most installers provide a workmanship guarantee to their customers on completion of an installation. However, if the installer was to cease trading, the workmanship guarantee would become worthless.
Our insurance backed guarantees underwrite the original workmanship guarantee provided by an installer. The insurance protects you in the event your installer ceases to trade, providing you with additional peace of mind.
The installer can select the duration of insurance to match the duration of their own workmanship guarantee.
We provide cover for over 150 home improvement types and the insurance backed guarantee is fully transferable to subsequent property owners.*

Accredited Installers
All Accredited Installers are required to demonstrate they are competent, have a solvent business and install products for which they carry the relevant certification or experience. Installers are regularly monitored to ensure they remain financially solvent and have kept up to date with their relevant certification. Please note, the insurance we provide is only available to Qualitymark Protection Accredited Installers.
